Anna & Pierre Present in Chicago

This summer went by so fast with the renovations to the new studio that we haven't been able to keep the blog up to date. So, it is now time to play a little catch up.

Jumping back to July... Anna and I were honored to be invited to speak before the Chicagoland Professional Photographers Association at Cafe' le Cave in Rosemont. What a great group of professionals! They were very welcoming and we had a wonderful time with everyone.

While Cafe' le Cave is a very beautiful location with a lot of obvious architectural elements to work with, we really wanted them to come away with the simple fact that you can create great imagery anywhere. So, what did we do? We went out back and shot by the dumpsters and few other less obvious spots! :)

It was back to basics with beautiful lighting, simplicity, color and expression - all the while keeping it fun and easy on your subject! We concentrated on ways to do complex lighting quickly and easily on the wedding day, and how to set yourself up for success, so every wedding is up to the standards you show in your galleries.

Thank you again to CPPA for having us. We look forward to coming down again to speak in the near future.
